JobLink - Employer Services
America's JobLink is a free job match and workplace information service for employers
and jobseekers.
Employers can access a variety of services through JobLink. Employers can establish a
self-service Internet account to manage your own job openings and search for candidates
as well as complete an application for an unemployment tax account.
After creating an account and entering a job order, employers must be validated before
their job order is made available to jobseekers. This validation is usually accomplished
within 24 hours.
Registered employers may enter job openings directly into the systems to be viewed by
jobseekers. Each position will require an individual job order. There are three
classifications of job orders. An "all information" disclosure order allows jobseekers to view all contact information and job order information. A "blind ad" order hides all contact information from viewing except your e-mail address. A "search only" order is not viewable by jobseekers, but allows employers to search and view skill comparisons and jobseeker resumes. Employers can close an active order without deleting it by selecting the "Make Inactive" button from the active job order list.
The following policies must be adhered to when using the system:
- Employers cannot charge a fee to provide a jobseeker with access to a job
referral. Individual customers have been asked to report any violations of this
policy.
- Employers cannot use the service to recruit replacement workers in a labor
dispute. Individuals have been asked to report any instance of such recruitment.
- Employers cannot resell or repost resumes found on this site. Such resale or
reposting violates the individuals ability to control who accesses their resume
information.
- Employers cannot post job orders for positions that are not currently available, or
as a source of sales leads, or anything related to network marketing or pyramid
schemes.
- Employers cannot use jobseeker information for any reason other than filling their
available positions.
- Employers must provide equal employment opportunities to applicants without
regard to race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, or disabilities.
Additional employer services include:
- Access to Labor Market and Career Information
- Quick Search feature which allows employers to conduct a quick search of active jobseeker resumes by geographic location and use of keyword(s).
