America's Job Link Products
America's Job Link Alliance offers a full range of award winning internet based one-stop system components as well as a series of reporting systems to assist states. Some of the products include:
Job Link
A job matching and workplace information service for employers and jobseekers that allows jobseekers to establish a self-service Internet account to manage their job search or receive assistance from professional staff in finding a job that matches their experience, interest and education. It can also offer State Civil Service Job Listings, State Labor Market and Career Information and a screen that allows jobseekers to determine their eligibility for state funded assistance programs.
Service Link
ServiceLink is a web-based One-Stop client management application that allows case managers to track their caseload and report information required under WIA, Welfare to Work, NAFTA-TAA and other federal programs. ServiceLink provides a standardized process for following participants through the workforce development system network. It eases the load for case managers by providing a tool with which they can manage and monitor caseloads, assess employment barriers, establish training and employment plans, search for service providers and WIA certified training providers and programs, and track job placements. This information is then used to generate the required reports for these federal programs. Future enhancements to Service Link will include a full spectrum of labor exchange tools needed to effectively manage workforce development activities and meet the needs of employers, job seekers and service providers.
America's Workforce System (AWS)
AWS facilitates the One-Stop initiative by providing a single solution for all service providers that allows coordination of service delivery for the benefit of the customer. The mainframe-based system allows partners to input or display a database of information common to all programs, while also maintaining information that is unique to their operations. AWS offers the labor exchange tools needed to effectively manage workforce development activities and meet the needs of employers, job seekers and service providers. AWS also allows case managers to track their caseload and report information required under WIA. These tools support intake, assessment, referral, placement, exchanging job orders with AJB and are compliant with federally mandated performance reporting.
Occupational Analysis and Search Information System (OASIS)
Guides organizations through the transition from the Dictionary of Occupational Titles to O*NET and from SIC to the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS). OASIS provides a PC-based database search for O*NET/SOC, Dictionary of Occupational Titles and Military Occupational System (MOS) codes. OASIS also provides cross-walks between systems.
DATA Analysis and Reporting Tool (DART)
Provides a PC-based reporting system that generates required federal reports, including the ETA 9002, Migrant Indicators of Compliance, VETS 200, Quarterly and Annual WIA Reports and WIASRD records running in a Windows 98, 2000 or XP environment. It eliminates the need to purchase an expensive proprietary database and allows you to create ad hoc reports using one of many off-the-shelf reporting softwares. First year mainframe savings of up to $250,000 have been reported by one state using DART.
SESA Automated Reporting System (SAMS)
Provides a system to generate both federal and state reports. The federal reports include ETA-9002, VETS-200 and Migrants Indicators of Compliance.
