DATE

Introduction
The America's Job Link Alliance was created to maximize the return workforce development agencies receive on their investments in information systems and to help them achieve the highest level of success in the workforce development strategies and business practices that surround the design, implementation, operation, management and improvement of those systems.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlines an agreement reached between the America's Job Link Alliance and ORGANIZATION X, for ORGANIZATION X to become an active participating member of the America's Job Link Alliance. Through this agreement, ORGANIZATION X is entitled to all of the strategic benefits, rewards, discounts and advantages of membership in the Alliance.

Participation
In this time of shrinking resources, increasing requirements and massive staff retirements, America's Job Link Alliance members believe it is vital to their success to form an alliance with allies committed to their mutual success in the following areas:

  • Technology. America's Job Link Alliance members participate, when mutually beneficial, in the design, development, operation, maintenance and enhancement of information technology systems, as well as share previously designed and built applications as appropriate to maximize information technology investments and minimize deployment efforts.
  • Innovation. America's Job Link Alliance members share the lessons learned and best practices gained from their respective efforts to design, implement, operate, manage and improve their information technology systems and their related workforce development strategies and business practices.
  • Marketing. Members of the America's Job Link Alliance share marketing materials produced to educate employers, job seekers, staff and legislators about the availability and capability of their information technology systems. When needed, the Alliance will team to hire premiere marketing and public relations professionals to produce such materials.
  • Training. America's Job Link Alliance members will share training materials produced to educate staff and customers on how to gain maximum benefit from information technology systems. When needed, the Alliance will team to hire premiere trainers to produce and/or deliver such curriculums.
  • Purchasing. America's Job Link Alliance members will combine their purchasing power to receive preferred customer discounts from various workforce development partners and suppliers who provide value-added services.

Conclusion
Members of the America's Job Link Alliance are committed to maximizing the success and efficiency of their information technology systems and supporting workforce development strategies and business practices.
